Anna Silk
Anna Silk is a Canadian actor who was born on January 31, 1974. She is best known as Bo from the Showcase television series Lost Girl. Silk was born Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada. Ilkay, the producer and director of drama in St. Thomas University, is Silk's mother. Her father, Peter is an academic. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. One of Anna's first memories were of going to the play school and watching her mom perform. Silk featured in a number of commercials as a child. She earned her Bachelor of Arts was conferred to her by St. Thomas University, 1997. Theatre St. Thomas was involved in at least two early theater productions including Seven Menus (1997) and The Kitchen (1999). Silk made the move to Toronto to further her acting profession in November 1999. Later, she spent the next decade, she moved to Los Angeles California. Seth Cooperman met Silk at the Actors Workshop in Los Angeles, in 2007. In 2009, they were married civilly in December 2009. After she had converted to Judaism, they renewed their wedding vows at a Jewish ceremony on the 10th of April 2011. The ceremony was held in Fredericton. Silk Cooperman gave birth to her son Samuel Jerome Cooperman, in May of 2013. Levi Aaron was her second born son on 13 May 2016. Silk is well-known for her role on television in the role of Cassidy Holland, in Being Erica. In 2009, she was nominated by the Gemini Awards. Silk was cast in the role of Bo Dennis the succubus on the Canadian television series Lost Girl in 2009. Silk became pregnant during final production of the season 3 finale. She announced the news to viewers in Showcase's Season Three Pre-Show Special on 6 January 2013. Silk announced on Twitter on June 20, 2013 that production was underway for Season 4. On 4 June 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures confirmed the beginning of production for the Fourth season. CNN, Cable News Network as well as E! have both named Bo (played by Silk) together with Lauren Palmer (Zoie) as one of their top TV couples. Entertainment Television.
